Basim Alhadidi is currently a Full Professor in the Computer Information Systems Department at Al-Balqa Applied University, Jordan. He earned his PhD in Engineering Science (Computers, Systems, and Networks) in 2000 and his MSc in Engineering Science (Computer and Intellectual Systems and Networks) in 1996.

Professor Alhadidi has an extensive body of work, including books and research papers in areas such as Computer Networks, Cybersecurity, Image Processing, and Artificial Neural Networks. He serves as a reviewer for several esteemed journals and holds three registered patents.

Beyond his academic and research achievements, he has played significant roles in numerous international conferences, serving as a chair, co-chair, proceedings editor or co-editor, keynote speaker, reviewer, and track chair.
