Shahd Dibas is a DPhil student in linguistics at the University of Oxford, affiliated with St. Hugh's College. Her overarching research interest lies in generative syntax and the Syntax-Semantics Interface, but she is also keenly interested in Arabic dialectology, language documentation, computational lexicography, and critical discourse analysis. Shahd has contributed to various lexicographic projects with leading institutions such as Columbia University, New York University-Abu Dhabi, Oxford University Press and Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Artificial Intelligence. In addition, she has translated and edited a number of influential and widely respected scholarly works.
