​Dr. Basem Al-Raba’a is a lecturer in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Jordan. Dr. Al-Raba’a holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Indiana University Bloomington. His main area of research is modern syntactic theory, with a focus on minimalist syntax, the phase theory, the morphosyntax-semantics interface, and the syntax-phonology interface. Dr. Al-Raba’a has published numerous research papers in reputed international journals and edited volumes, such as The Linguistic Review, Studia Linguistica, Glossa, Acta Linguistica Academica, Canadian Journal of Linguistics, and WORD.​
