Dr. Allam is the Dean of the College of Business and Finance at Ahlia University, where he is spearheading the mission-driven process for the college's international accreditation by AACSB. A Full Professor, Dr. Allam is recognized as one of the world's top 2% scientists by Stanford University for the years 2022-2023.

Dr. Allam has achieved the highest scientific research citation ranking among Arab countries according to Arcif for six consecutive years (2018-2023). His exemplary work has earned him numerous accolades, including the First Prize of the Al-Owais Creative Award (UAE) in 2019 and 2017, the Second Prize of the Rashid bin Humaid Award for Culture and Science (UAE) in 2016, the Third Prize of the Arab Prize for the Social Sciences and Humanities in 2015 (Qatar), and the First Prize of "Durrat Watan" (UAE) in 2013. Most recently, he received the Al Hussein Fund for Excellence Award in 2024.

In addition to his administrative and academic responsibilities, Dr. Allam is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Business and Socio-economic Development at Ahlia University and Emerald. He also leads a book series titled "Technological Innovation and Sustainability for Business Competitive Advantage" in collaboration with Emerald.
