​The Department of Statistics, in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), organized a special meeting of the Technical Committee for the 2025 Population and Housing Census. The meeting aimed to discuss the census forms that will be adopted after receiving approval from all committee members.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Haidar Fraihat, Director General of the Department of Statistics, stated that the Department is currently undergoing extensive preparations to implement the 2025 Population and Housing Census. This census is considered the largest statistical survey operation undertaken by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, involving the participation of all state institutions, bodies, and components, in cooperation with civil society organizations and the private sector at the national level.
