Hind Khalid Al-Sarayrah is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Geography at the University of Jordan. She specializes in Population and Service Planning, with research interests encompassing population geography, spatial planning, and the application of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in analyzing demographic and environmental changes.
Al-Sarayrah has contributed to numerous studies focusing on topics such as land use transformation, climate change impacts, and optimal planning for services in Jordan. Her work often integrates GIS and remote sensing techniques to address complex geographical issues
In addition to her academic and research roles, Al-Sarayrah actively participates in community development initiatives and serves as the general supervisor of the Al-Idrisi Club, which promotes geographical awareness and education.
