​The festival includes a scientific symposium specialized in the production, marketing and manufacturing of dates, an exhibition of date palm, as well as a display of date production tools and their requirements for incentive competitions for producers and manufacturers, various production inputs, and a program for innovators and researchers between date producers and traders (B2B), scientists and university professors. 

Abstract

The date palm innovation platform aims to provide an interactive space to coordinate the efforts of member states and multiple stakeholders, including researchers, producers, financiers, farmers' associations, private industries, investors, and government agencies to enhance the integrated production system of the date palm in the NENA region, and to maintain high competitiveness in both regional and global markets.
