​Dr. Alrawashdeh holds a PhD in Sociology of Media and Communication, Head of the Sociology Department at the University of Jordan (2022-2024). She has more than 17 years of experience in the field of media and journalism. She has recent publications in high-impact journals addressing social phenomena associated with social media and its effects on the individual and society.​
