​Dr. Mona Seine is an Associate Professor of Sociology at The University of Jordan. Her research focuses on gender inequalities, women's ownership rights, and family dynamics, with particular attention to violence against women. Her current work examines factors influencing marriage compatibility in various Arab countries, while a related line of research explores the experiences of Syrian refugees. In the future, she plans to expand her focus to investigate the factors shaping marriage responsibilities and gender roles among young women.​​
