She is a dedicated researcher with expertise in gender studies, focusing on GBV and women’s economic empowerment. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Jordan. Throughout her career, Yara has worked as a research assistant at the University of Jordan, and various research centers. She has been keen to hone her research skills by participating in several different research projects and working with important research organizations. These experiences have equipped her with a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of research methodologies, allowing her to tackle societal issues with confidence. Recently, she is working in Includovate, which is a global, multi-disciplinary, social enterprise dedicated to empowering women, marginalised communities, and other excluded groups.
