Dr. Ann Alnajdwi
discussed the importance of the Code of Ethics in Social Work, emphasizing its essential role in ensuring that practitioners act with professionalism, compassion, and responsibility. This ethical framework is crucial for enhancing the quality of services and promoting positive outcomes for individuals and communities.
Dr. Alnajdwi
also highlighted the specific challenges associated with applying the Jordanian Ethical Code of Practice in social work. These challenges arise from the intersection of cultural, social, and institutional factors that create complex ethical dilemmas. However, Dr. Alnajdwi proposed strategies to overcome these challenges, stressing the need to align social work practices with professional standards while adapting to the local context.
Meanwhile, Prof. Rula Al-Sawalqa addressed the critical issue of emotional management among academic staff and social workers.
