As academic staff, we consistently encourage our students to focus their research papers on sustainability, particularly in alignment with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We encourage linking sustainability with service innovation, technology adoption, consumerism, and well-being. This includes examining consumer intentions and behaviours towards sustainable services or technologies, their continued usage intentions, and their sustainable choices. 

Our students have consequently explored a diverse range of topics reflecting these interests, including: 

1. Factors affecting consumers' intention to use self-service kiosks in fast-food restaurants. (Fadi Al Amiri, supervised by Dr. Farah Shishan- MBA dissertation, Published in  Tourism and Hospitality Research (THR) (SCOPUS Q1: ISI).​

2. Factors influencing physicians' prescription of environmentally friendly medications. (Huda Abu Zaghlan, supervised by Dr. Farah Shishan- MBA dissertation, Unpublished) 

3. How time perspective influences consumers' behavioral intentions towards green hotels.​ (Xinying Zeng, visiting scholar, collaborated with Dr. Rawan Nimri, published a journal in the International Journal of Hospitality Management. SCOPUS Q1)
