Ahmed Gharaibeh, Ph.D., is a Senior Geologist, Hydrogeologist, and Geochemist currently serving as Head of the Geological and Geochemical Surveys Division at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) in Amman, Jordan. With over 25 years of experience, his expertise spans geological mapping, geochemistry, hydrogeology, geothermal research, and exploration of natural resources including rare earth elements and oil shale.

Dr. Gharaibeh holds a Ph.D. in Hydrogeology from TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Germany, where he also earned his M.Sc. in Groundwater Management. He has participated in international collaborative research projects and has contributed to key geological and geochemical surveys in Jordan. His research encompasses geodynamic processes, geochemical risk assessments, and the environmental impacts of natural resource exploitation.
