​Dr. Diala Atiyat is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Architectural Engineering at Isra University, Amman–Jordan. Her research focuses on sustainable urban development, smart heritage cities, and the integration of digital technologies such as AI and the metaverse in architectural education and practice. She earned her Ph.D. in Architectural Engineering. Dr. Atiyat has published extensively on smart cities, sustainability, and architectural conservation and has presented her work at numerous international conferences. She also served as Head of the Architectural Engineering Department at Isra University and actively supervises postgraduate research in sustainable construction and urban innovation.​
