 Dr. Hanan Al-Jabri collaborates with Kalima

The book جوز الهند: تاريخ عالمي, translated from English by Dr. Hanan Al-Jabri in collaboration with the Kalima Translation Project, was recently released. It delves into the history of the coconut across various civilizations and cultures through a fascinating collection of stories and tales narrated by the authors. Kalima is a project under the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Center, launched in 2007 by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, with the aim of revitalizing the translation movement in the Arab world and supporting Abu Dhabi's vibrant cultural development. This initiative seeks to foster an Arab cultural and scientific renaissance across numerous fields of human knowledge, with books as its foundation. Additionally, it organizes events and activities related to translation.​​
