​Hanan Al-Jabri is an Associte ​​​Professor of Translation and Interpreting in the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Jordan, Amman. She received her BA in English Language and Literature in 2006, and her MA in Translation in 2008 from the University of Jordan. In 2017, she obtained her doctorate in Translation and Interpreting Studies from the University of Surrey, UK. Her research interests focus on conference interpreting, literary translation, audiovisual translation, and media translation.​
