Dr. Ying Wang is an Associate Professor at the College of Civil Engineering, Fuzhou University, China. She earned her Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from Purdue University (USA) in 2014. Prior to joining academia, Dr. Wang served as a Senior Structural Engineer at WSP Global, a leading international engineering firm, where she accumulated four years of industry expertise in structural design and analysis. She has been a faculty member at Fuzhou University since 2018.

Her research focuses on:

Seismic performance of structures (behavior and dynamic response analysis)

Performance-based structural design methodologies

Application of Ultra-High Performance Concrete (UHPC) in civil infrastructure

Innovative composite structural systems
