​​Rawan Allouzi is an assistant professor of Architecture at Philadelphia University. She completed her PhD at Kent School of Architecture and Planning. Through her research, she has investigated the interrelationship between sustainable architecture and heritage conservation. She focused assessing vernacular settlements transformed for tourism purposes, combining the architectural and urban assessment with the thermal assessment to provide strong interdisciplinary studies, particularly between the disciplines of Heritage Conservation and Sustainable Architecture.​
