Dr Saja Alnahar is an assistant professor of Social and Administrative Pharmacy at The Institute of Public Health, University of Jordan.Dr Alnahar completed her BSc degree in pharmacy from Jordan University in 2009. In 2012, Dr Alnahar got an MSc in Health Service Management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and Yarmouk University. In 2014, Dr Alnahar started a PhD in Social and Administrative Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham, completed in 2018. In addition to her academic record, Dr Alnahar has practical experience as a chemotherapy pharmacist at King Hussain Cancer Centre (KHCC). Following her time at KHCC, Dr Alnahar worked at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, where she took roles in research and development, medical affairs, quality control, and compliance. Dr Alnahar's research interests are related to pharmacy education, workforce development, and medicines management and policies.In September 2020, Dr Alnahar was appointed Assistant Dean for Accreditation and Quality Assurance Affairs. She coordinated and managed the Faculty application for the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) international accreditation. Moreover, in October 2021, Dr Alnahar was awarded a USD 122,595 grant from the Middle East Partnership Initiative (award No. S-NEAAP-21-GR-3001) to lead a capacity-building project to develop employment skills of STEM fresh graduates in the Northern region of Jordan. In January 2019, Dr Alnahar was appointed technical coordinator for the FIP-JPA Project of Pharmacy Workforce Development in Jordan.
