Prof. Ayed Al-Abdallat and Prof. Zakaria Al-Ajlouni participated in a panel discussion on biodiversity and plant propagation. This event was organized by the National Center for Agricultural Research and held under the patronage of its director general, Prof. Ibrahim Al-Rawashdeh. The objective of the event was to promote the sustainability of the National Seed Bank.
In alignment with the Royal Vision, the panel endeavored to formulate strategic national guidelines for the sustenance and investment in the National Seed Bank, with the objective of fortifying national food security. The participants included esteemed experts from the University of Jordan, Mu'tah University, and the Jordan University of Science and Technology, as well as retired specialists from the National Center for Agricultural Research. This diverse representation reflected a participatory approach designed to leverage accumulated national expertise.

The workshop concluded with a field tour of the National Seed Bank, during which participants gained direct exposure to the mechanisms and techniques employed in the conservation of biodiversity and its sustainability for future generations.
