The University of Jordan, represented by the Vice President for Scientific Faculties Affairs, Dr. Ashraf Abu Karaki, and the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Dr. Ayed Al-Abdallat, participated in the annual meeting of the Executive Council of the Silk Road Alliance for Agricultural Education, Research and Innovation, which was held today in the Uzbek capital, Tashkent, in the presence of more than twenty representatives of the member states of the alliance.

During the meeting, they discussed the annual report of the most important achievements of the member countries of the Alliance, and discussed strengthening cooperation frameworks and sharing among them in academic and research fields related to agricultural sciences.

The Silk Road Alliance for Agricultural Education, Research and Innovation is a non-governmental, non-profit cooperation platform that aims to enhance cooperation between members in the fields of human resources training, scientific research, technology extension and exchange of experts, with the aim of accelerating the progress and joint development of agricultural education and technological research in countries and regions along the Silk Road.
