​Al-Baqa'a Palestinian refugee camp is located about 20 kilometers north of Amman and hosts over 130,000 Palestinian refugees, many of whom are first-generation Palestinian refugees who witnessed the 1967 Arab-Israeli war and fled to Jordan in its aftermath. Refugee health studies researchers often collect data inside this camp and others in collaboration with UNRWA.
