Professor Al-Zaiti is a renowned, Jordan-born, nursing scientist with over 140 peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals. The main line of research is electrocardiography. Professor Salah spent the academic year 2023-2024 as a Fulbright Scholar in Jordan, where he co-wrote the proposal entitled: 'Artificial Intelligence-Enabled ECG Screening of subclinical coronary artery disease among populations at risk in Jordan' with Dr. Hamza Alduraidi and Professor Jafar Alassad Alshraideh. This project aims to apply AI technology to predict asymptomatic cardiovascular problems among Palestinian refugee patients visiting UNRWA's healthcare centers in Jordan. The proposal was funded with $20,000 by the University of Jordan's Deanship of Scientific Research.
