Objective: This study aimed to describe the experiences ofhealthcare professionals providing women’s health services toasylum-seeking women at hospitals.Methods: A qualitative design was used in this study. The datawere collected from thirty-four healthcare professionals providingwomen’s healthcare services to asylum-seeking women throughsemi-structured, face-to-face, individual in-depth interviews. Thedata were evaluated using Colaizzi’s seven-step analysis method inthe NVivo12 package program.Results: Three themes were identified (1) challenges, (2) reflections,and (3) needs. Healthcare professionals evaluated the process ofproviding women’s healthcare services to asylum-seeking womenfrom a positive and negative point of view. They stated that theyshould be supported personally, professionally, and as a health teamin improving this experience.Conclusion: This study narrows the gap in the literature andexpands the scope of existing knowledge concerning the healthcareprofessionals' experience about asylum-seeking women's health care.Keywords: Asylum seekers, qualitative research, women’s health
