​The participation of the President of the Jordanian Academy of Arabic, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Adnan Al-Bakhit, in the launch ceremony for all 127 volumes of the Historical Dictionary of the Arabic Language and his honoring by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, underscores the importance of the Jordanian Academy of Arabic. This participation affirms the value of Arab academies in working for the Arabic language, protecting it, and keeping pace with its affairs and developments—an endeavor that Sheikh Al Qasimi gives great attention to, in his capacity as the Supreme President of the Sharjah Academy. The ceremony was held under his patronage and was attended by the heads of Arab academies and members of the Language Trustees in Sharjah.

Later that same day, Dr. Al-Bakhit visited the University of Sharjah and the Astronomical Observatory, where the university's director, Professor Dr. Hamid Majoul Al Nuaimi, presented him with an honorary shield on behalf of the university, expressing his pride and appreciation for this great visit from a distinguished literary figure in the Arab world.
