​Dr. Almahdi Alrawadieh​ received all hisdegrees in Archaeology and history from the University of Jordan, he is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of History, Schoolof Arts /University of Jordan.

Dr. Alrawadieh specialize in Islamic history with focus on manuscript studies, historical geography, and travel literature. He has published widely in these fields with over 15 books and 40 peer-reviewed articles.
