In recognition of World Arthritis Day in October 2023, Dr. Fatima Alnaimat, alongside a group of students, organized an awareness event at Jordan University Hospital to educate the public about ankylosing spondylitis.

The initiative aimed to shed light on the condition, a type of inflammatory arthritis that primarily affects the spine, and to emphasize the importance of early diagnosis and proper management. Through interactive discussions and informative materials, attendees gained valuable insights into the symptoms, risk factors, and available treatments for the disease.
