Dr. Munir Abu-Helalah, MD, MPH, PhD, is the Director of the Public Health Institute at the University of Jordan and an Associate Professor of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine in the Department of Family and Community Medicine, School of Medicine, University of Jordan.
With expertise in medical research methodology, disease registries, national screening programs, vaccine-preventable diseases, cancer control, familial cancer, cardiovascular health, and smoking cessation interventions, Dr. Abu-Helalah has a broad focus on disease prevention and quality of life.
He has contributed to over 40 peer-reviewed publications and served on various national and regional committees in immunization, epidemiology, and cancer control.
His role is to initiate epidemiological and clinical research in rheumatic diseases and support research proposals by the group team and other external stakeholders.
