Prof. Dr. Firas Alsoleihat is a distinguished Jordanian academic and dental researcher, currently serving as the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Petra. Born on August 19, 1978, Dr. Alsoleihat holds a BDS degree in dentistry from the University of Jordan, and a PhD in Craniofacial Development from the University of Melbourne, Australia, where his thesis focused on the molecular analysis of craniofacial morphogenesis.

With over 15 years of experience in academia, Dr. Alsoleihat has held key leadership roles, including Vice Dean for Graduate Studies at the University of Jordan and Head of the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Petra. His research spans craniofacial biology, dental morphology, forensic odontology, and stem cell applications in dentistry, with numerous peer-reviewed publications in international journals.

A recipient of multiple awards, including the University of Jordan Distinguished Researcher Award (2011), Dr. Alsoleihat is actively involved in dental education, accreditation, and professional committees in Jordan. He continues to advance dental science through teaching, mentorship, and innovative research.​
