Dr. Maysoun Saleh is a Professor of Pediatric Rehabilitation and a leading researcher in the field of cerebral palsy (CP). Her work is dedicated to improving rehabilitation practices and outcomes for children and adolescents with CP through high-impact, clinically relevant research. Her academic career began in Quebec, Canada, where she examined physical and occupational therapy practices to identify evidence-based approaches for children with CP. She later collaborated with national and international researchers to establish the first national cerebral palsy registry in Jordan (CP-UP), representing a landmark advancement in pediatric rehabilitation research and disability surveillance in the region.

Currently, Dr. Saleh leads a well-funded pediatric rehabilitation research group at the University of Jordan, focusing on the clinical characteristics of children with CP, family experiences, and rehabilitation service utilization. Her research has resulted in numerous publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals (Q1 and Q2), and she is a frequent invited speaker and contributor to prominent national and international conferences.

Dr. Saleh holds a BSc in Physiotherapy from Kuwait University and earned both her MSc and PhD in Rehabilitation Sciences from McGill University, Montreal, Canada.​
