Dr. Mohammad Abu Rumman is invited by the Politics and Society Institute, in partnership with the Middle East Council for International Affairs and the Al Sharq Forum, to a research workshop on 27–28 September 2025 in Istanbul.

The workshop will study and analyse shifts in political Islamic movements in the region and revisit the key questions and debates about the future of this trend in light of current regional changes.

He is asked to submit a paper for the workshop titled “The Future of Political Islam in the Middle East in Light of Regional Developments” and his participation has been scheduled for the first session, “Political Islam – from the Arab Spring to the Flood of Al-Aqsa.”​
