Hasan Jaber, researcher at the Politics and Society Institute, authored the chapter “Jordan: Between the Hammer and the Anvil” in the Palgrave Macmillan book The Future of the Occupation of the Palestinian Territories after Gaza. It shows how Jordan balances its historic ties to Palestine, Hashemite custodianship of Jerusalem’s holy sites, domestic stability, and its U.S. partnership while supporting Palestinian rights and engaging in diplomacy and humanitarian action after the Gaza war.​
