​Dr. Eman Abu-Gharbieh, BPharm, PhD is a Professor of Pharmacology and Vice Dean at the College of Medicine, University of Sharjah. She is also an Honorable Professor at the School of Pharmacy, The University of Jordan. With over two decades of academic and research experience, her work has significantly contributed to pharmacological sciences, including antimicrobial stewardship, drug safety, and infection management. Her published studies on antimicrobial use patterns, resistance-related behaviors, and drug safety in clinical settings reflect a strong foundation in AMR research. A certified academic evaluator and ACPE international reviewer, Dr. Abu-Gharbieh brings leadership, grant-winning experience, and multidisciplinary research capacity to the group—particularly in pharmacotherapy, drug utilization, and the rational use of antibiotics. Her inclusion strengthens the group’s translational and public health dimensions in combating antimicrobial resistance.​
