​Ms. Bayan Abu Alragheb (now Dr.) won the Global Scholar In Training presented by the American Association for Cancer Research award at the 2023 annual meeting for her poster presentation on the association of microRNA molecules with the expression of androgen receptor in triple-negative breast cancer. The data originated from Prof. Ahram's laboratory in collaboration with Dr. Maysa Al-Husseini at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC).​
