​Dr. Motasum Abu-Awwad is an Associate Professor at the Prosthodontics Department at the University of Jordan. He earned his DDS degree from the University of Jordan in 2009. He is a consultant in Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and has earned his Clinical master’s degree with Distinction from the Eastman Dental Institute – University College London. He was subsequently awarded a Membership in Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He acquired the Jordanian Board in Prosthodontics. He is currently the Head of Prosthodnoitcs Department at the University of Jordan and an administrative member of the Jordanian Prosthoonditcs Society. He has over 20 publications in will renowned peer review journals, and lectures locally and internationally. He has an interest in biomimetic, aesthetic and implant dentistry.​
