Partnerships

We are exploring potential collaborations with the following organizations to strengthen our efforts in advancing patient safety and healthcare quality:

1. Jordanian Ministry of Health:

By combining our research expertise with the Ministry's leadership in healthcare policy, we can contribute to improving patient safety standards and enhancing the quality of care in the country. We look forward to discussing how we can move forward with this collaboration and help Jordan become a leader in patient safety in the region.

2. Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC):
Established in 2007, the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC) is an independent, non-profit organization committed to advancing quality improvement and patient safety across Jordan and the Eastern Mediterranean region. Guided by ethical principles and a patient-centered approach, HCAC strives to catalyze change by enabling comprehensive improvements in healthcare delivery. Leveraging its extensive experience, HCAC develops and implements evidence-based standards and quality improvement programs that enhance clinical processes, organizational performance, and workforce competencies. Its core functions include the design and administration of accreditation and certification systems for health and social care institutions, capacity building for healthcare professionals, consulting on systems transformation, supporting governmental healthcare reforms, and providing policy guidance in governance, quality systems, and patient safety. HCAC’s mission is to elevate healthcare outcomes by fostering collaboration, accountability, and a culture of excellence.

Potential Collaboration:
Improving patient care requires the concerted efforts of all stakeholders in the healthcare system. We aim to collaborate with a range of partners to drive the collective mission of achieving zero harm in healthcare. Through these collaborations, we seek to:

  • Promote the adoption of consistent standards and best practices across healthcare organizations

  • Facilitate the exchange of knowledge on critical healthcare challenges

  • Contribute subject-matter expertise to raise awareness and mobilize action in quality and patient safety

3. International Collaboration:

We envision future collaboration with the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC). The Commission leads and coordinates key improvements in safety and quality in health care across Australia. By combining our research expertise with the Commission’s leadership in healthcare standards and policy, we can contribute to tangible improvements in patient care outcomes. This partnership will support joint research initiatives focused on healthcare quality and patient safety, contributing to the global effort to enhance healthcare systems and outcomes.
