Dr. Sireen Alkhaldi is an Associate Professor of Public Health. Her research is focused on Health services administration and organization. She has a broad background in Public Health and Community Medicine. As PI or co-Investigator on several university-funded research projects, she has research in turnover of Jordanian physicians, maternal and antenatal Health Services Utilization in Rural Jordanian Villages, patient safety culture and burnout among health care workers in Jordan. In addition, she has research interests in antibiotic overuse and abuse and antibiotic prescribing behavior in health services in Jordan. Her latest area of research is early initiation of breastfeeding and attitudes toward breastfeeding among mothers in Jordan, in addition to young adult perceptions about diabetes prevention in Jordan.
