​​Dr. Muath Al-Zoubi is an Associate Professor of Criminal Law at the School of Law/ The University of Jordan. He is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (UK), as well as he is a Scholar at the Institute for Global Law and Policy (IGLP) at Harvard Law School. Dr. Muath is a Founding Member of the Academic Alliance for Reconciliation Studies in the Middle East and Northern Africa at Jena Center for Reconciliation Studies (JCRS)/ Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Germany). He is also an Attorney at Law under the Jordanian Bar Association and a member of the Internati​onal Bar Association (UK). Dr. Muath has held several administrative positions in the School of Law at the University of Jordan, such as the Head of Public Law Department and Dean's Assistant. Dr. Muath has presented his works in different countries (The UK, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Germany, Thailand, Czech Republic and Jordan). He was awarded his Ph.D. from Brunel University London. His field of expertise is criminal law, criminal justice, medical ethics, and trafficking in persons. Working languages are Arabic and English.​
