Dr. Rania Albsoul and Dr. Muhammad Alshyyab attended the webinar titled " Quality Improvement & Patient Safety Research Symposium."​ The event explored current and future trends in quality improvement and patient safety research. The event discussed the quality and safety research eco-system in Ireland, methodologies for studying improvement and implementation efforts, and debated priorities for patient safety research in the Irish healthcare system. Presentations covered diverse areas including improvement priorities, quality models and frameworks, surgical engagement, implementation science, artificial intelligence, and sustainable healthcare. Information was provided about the new Evidence-based Quality Improvement and Patient Safety (EQUIPS) Research Network for Ireland and a consultation took place about expectation of the network.​
