Unveiling the current status of cucurbit viruses in Jordan

We monitored the occurrence of viruses in cucurbit crops through an extensive survey conducted across seven geographical governorates in Jordan: Amman, Al-Balqa’, Al-Mafraq, Al-Zarqa, Irbid, Ma’an and Madaba.

Virus-like symptoms on different cucurbit crops during field surveys. Cucumber; a1-a6: various patterns of mosaic and mottling, a7-a9: interveinal chlorosis and malformation, a10-a11: vein clearing, a12: chlorotic rectangular spots and brittling, a13: stunting plant with mosaic, a14-a15: malformed fruits.
