Partnerships

The Meta-Science in Dentistry research group actively fosters national and international partnerships that expand our capabilities, improve research relevance, and promote the integration of high-quality evidence into dental education, policy, and clinical care. These collaborations enable access to professional networks, data-sharing initiatives, specialized expertise, and policy advocacy platforms.

Jordanian National Partnerships

  1. 1200x630wa.pngJordan Dental Association (JDA)
Collaboration with the JDA provides access to a large network of practicing clinicians and academic professionals. This supports knowledge dissemination, continuing education workshops, and collaborative studies on clinical practice trends and guideline implementation.
  2. Jordan Society of Periodontology images.jpg
Offers specialized collaboration in periodontal research, access to case-based data, and participation in joint conferences and training initiatives. Facilitates dissemination of meta-research findings into national clinical practice.
  3. Ministry of Health – Jordanministry_of_health_jordan_logo.jpg
Serves as a gateway for influencing national dental policy and public health initiatives. The Ministry can provide epidemiological datasets, access to government-funded dental programs, and platforms for implementing research findings into practice guidelines.
  4. The Higher Council for Science and Technology (HCST) logo_en.pngSupports research through funding, national research priorities alignment, and policy-level engagement. HCST enables scaling of high-impact research and advocacy for open science and reproducibility in Jordan.

International Partnerships

1.    European Association of Oral Medicine (EAOM)images (1).jpg

Enhances collaboration in oral medicine–specific research, such as reproducibility in diagnostic criteria, evidence synthesis, and rare disease reporting practices. Enables cross-border harmonization of research practices.

2.    American Association of Periodontology (AAP)logo-aap.png
Offers high-level scientific collaboration, participation in evidence-based clinical guideline development, and access to influential publication and conference platforms. AAP's focus on clinical outcomes aligns with our mission to improve research translation.

3.     Spanish Society of Periodontology (SEPA)images (1).png
Facilitates exchange of data and methods from a European context and supports bilingual dissemination of systematic reviews and guidelines. SEPA is also a strong supporter of quality reporting standards.

4.    European Federation of Periodontology (EFP)EFP_0.png

EFP is a leading authority in evidence-based periodontology. The partnership supports large-scale collaborative reviews, policy formulation, and clinical education standardization across Europe and beyond.

5.     International Association of Dental Research / American Association of Dental Research (IADR/AADR) images (2).png
Membership and collaboration with IADR/AADR promote global dissemination of findings, access to funding and mentorship schemes, and the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge initiatives in dental meta-research and publication ethics.

6.    American Dental Association (ADA) American_Dental_Association.png

Collaboration with ADA enables the group to engage in research around dental policy, practice guidelines, coding systems, and large-scale data analysis. Their emphasis on safety, standardization, and evidence-based practice aligns directly with our goals.

These partnerships enrich the Meta-Science in Dentistry research group's mission by:

  • Facilitating interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Increasing the reach and implementation of our findings
  • Providing access to clinical and population-level datasets
  • Supporting the adoption of best practices in research transparency and ethics

By connecting with leading professional and academic bodies, we are able to amplify the impact of our work on the dental research community and clinical practice both locally and internationally.
