Dr. Omar Al-Karadsheh is a clinical academic and periodontist at the University of Jordan, where he also serves as a faculty member. He earned his dental degree from the University of Jordan and completed his specialty training in periodontology at Trinity College Dublin, graduating from the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP)-accredited program in 2013. His research interests span diagnostic accuracy in periodontics, AI applications in dental diagnostics, publication trends, and the social impact of dental research. He has authored studies on diagnostic delay, social media health content, and altmetrics in implant dentistry. Dr. Al-Karadsheh is also deeply involved in dental education, curriculum development, and national board examination committees. His recent work in meta-research focuses on improving research quality, transparency, and clinical relevance in dentistry.​
