Diana Al-Fayez is currently an Assistant Professor and head of the Public Administration Department at the University of Jordan- Amman. She has also taken lead roles in the Human Resources Department and in the Investment Development Department at the Jordan Investment Commission (N/K/A Ministry of Investment). Diana has recently been elected as a board member of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) —Section on Professional and Organizational Development (SPOD).

Diana’s research focuses on public human resources management, leadership, organizational performance, and comparative public administration and public policies. Her work has been published in Public Personnel Management, Public Administration and Development, the Journal of Public Affairs Education, and others. She also received the 2023 Garcia-Zamor Best Paper Award, which recognizes outstanding research in international and development administration
