​Dr. Wa'ed Alshoubaki is an associate professor at the University of Jordan and a member of the Academic Council for the Public Sector Reform Project in Jordan. She has also been a visiting scholar at the School of Public Affairs and Administration at Western Michigan University. Her expertise lies in public policy and governance, with ongoing research on immigration and refugee resettlements in the Middle East, Europe, and the United States. Dr. Alshoubaki has several research publications on refugees and governance systems, public procurement, social policies, poverty, and women’s rights.
