Dr. Laith Kamal Nasrawin holds a PhD Degree in Constitutional Law from the University of Manchester in the UK in 2009, and he is currently working as a Professor in Public Law and Human Rights in the Faculty of Law at the University of Jordan. He previously worked as a Part-time Lecturer at the University of Manchester from 2006 to 2009, and at the Jordanian Royal Police Academy from 2011 to 2013, and he also served as a Visiting Professor at Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College in Qatar in 2012.Dr. Nasrawin is a qualified lawyer and a member of the Jordanian Bar Association since 2001; he is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Royal Institute for Interfaith Studies, and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Arab Thought Forum since 2012.During his academic career, Dr. Nasrawin has issued many books and scientific researches and studies. In 2016, he issued a book entitled “A Guide to Drafting Legislations - The Concepts, Principles & Stages”. He also issued in 2013, a book entitled “The Right to Peaceful Assembly in Jordanian law and International Conventions”, and a book in 2011 entitled “Legislations Governing the Right to Hold Public Meetings in the Light of the Jordanian Constitution and International Standards”, Dr. Nasrawin published more than (25) research studies and articles in international, regional and national referred law journals, and he has written more than (350) articles and legal studies published in daily newspapers and on news websites.In 2014, Dr. Nasrawin won the State Appreciation Award in the field of Constitutional Law granted by the Jordanian Ministry of Culture, and the Best Book Award of 2014 for his book “The Right to Peaceful Assembly in Jordanian law and International Conventions”.
