Dr. Diana presented her paper on Jordan's approach to managing the COVID-19 pandemic, highlighting the main challenges faced by Jordan in response to this crisis. ​

Purpose and Method: This study highlighted the Jordanian approach to curbing the global health pandemic. Drawing on semi-structured interviews with senior public officials, city managers, and experts in crisis management, this study will answer the following main questions: (1) How did Jordan respond to COVID-19? (2) What are the challenges the government faces while managing the COVID-19 pandemic?

Outcomes: The study concludes by suggesting new strategies that will help handle similar situations better in the future.​
