Dr. Yazun Bashir Jarrar is a pharmacologist currently affiliated with the College of Medicine at Al-Balqa Applied University in Jordan. He earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacology, with a subspecialty in Pharmacogenomics and Personalized Medicine, from Inje University, South Korea, in 2015.

Dr. Jarrar's research focuses on understanding inter-individual variations in drug response through pharmacogenomics. He has authored over 100 publications in the fields of pharmacogenomics and molecular pharmacology. In addition to his research, Dr. Jarrar is actively involved in teaching both undergraduate and graduate-level courses. He also supervises graduate research projects that explore genetic variation, drug action, and gene expression dynamics.​
