Dr. Mohammed Yacoub holds the position of an associate professor in the clinical nursing department, school of nursing, The University of Jordan. Dr. Yacoub is a member of the Jordan Pain and Palliative Care Society. Part of his research interests focuses on the development of cancer care services and research in Jordan. Dr. Yacoub has contributed to research projects related to cancer prevention and promotion during his sabbatical and unpaid leave in Saudi Arabia.​​
