Who are we?

Precision Nutrition in Cardiometabolic Health (PNCH) is the research group launched by the University of Jordan with a formal website: (https://research.ju.edu.jo/research/groups/PNCH).

PNCH is dedicated to all research issues relevant to clinical personalized nutrition and cardiometabolism, from basic and clinical research to basic and advanced education and extension research. Therefore, PNCH aims to:

  • Elaborate on the physiopathology of cardiometabolic syndrome and related metabolic diseases.
  • Unravel the complex relationship between cardiometabolic syndrome and associated risk factors.
  • Emphasize precision nutrition as a fundamental pillar of cardiometabolic health and human well-being.
  • Disseminate best practices in clinical personalized nutrition and cardiometabolic syndrome. 

At the University of Jordan, we integrate research into the teaching process. This approach creates experiential learning opportunities that enrich the student experience and equip our BSc, MSc, and PhD graduates with transferable skills, making them more competitive in local, regional, and international job markets.
