Dr. Firas Ali Mohammed Al-Habis
Associate Professor of Psychology | Clinical Psychotherapist

Dr. Firas Al-Habis is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Jordan and a licensed clinical psychotherapist in both Jordan and Saudi Arabia. He holds a PhD in Psychology from Zagazig University (2014), along with Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Jordan.
With over two decades of academic and clinical experience, Dr. Al-Habis has worked in universities, private clinics, and therapeutic centers in Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the U.S. He has supervised and examined numerous theses in areas such as addiction, abuse, self-esteem, and mental health.
His research, published in international journals, covers topics including cognitive-behavioral therapy, study anxiety, social media addiction, and psychological effects of COVID-19. He is the author of the book Addiction Psychology and serves on editorial boards and peer-review panels for several scientific journals.
Dr. Al-Habis is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Jordanian Psychological Society.
